HISTORY OF WEDDING IN FRANCE
He proposed to her 3 times and finally she said YES. Their love story relates to France, the first time he proposed during a performance at the Moulin Rouge, the champagne wire acted as a ring, a trip to the Loire Castles won her heart, and when it came time to choose a place for the wedding, the answer was obvious - We only want a wedding in France!
The guys dreamed of having a wedding in a Chateau in France. We worked hard to find the best place. To be honest, I had to worry about making this dream come true! I wanted everyone to be comfortable and their guests to feel at home.
The setting was the Chateau Challain, where every corner, room and courtyard was filled with an atmosphere of timeless love. The details were absolutely mind blowing, and it truly felt like you were in a museum … although it’s available to rent. The castle was designed to commemorate the passing of time and encourage the appreciation of moments. Its 4 towers represent the seasons, 12 towers represent the lunar months, 26 spiral staircases represent two weeks of the year, 52 fireplaces represent the weeks of the year, and 365 windows represent each day. So we booked it!
WELCOME DAY
Upon arrival at the Castle, guests were greeted by the Butler with a glass of champagne, told the history of the Chateau and escorted to their rooms. In the rooms, elegantly decorated, guests were greeted with gifts from the newlyweds, handmade silk scarves with an image of the Castle and the wedding date, as well as a program for the wedding weekend and a letter of gratitude.
For the welcome dinner we wanted create a relaxed atmosphere of a French village at the foot of the Chateau. We decorated it by baskets with aromatic herbs and lavender, pillows, natural tablecloths, and lights. Light summer outfits of the guests, which they complemented with handmade silk scarves and the bride and groom’s black outfits look like a great French movie.
The guests took time to rest and relaxation, and after exploring the chateau, they were treated to play Bocci -an old game, as well as a barbecue dinner, cocktails and champagne, and conversations around the fire.
WEDDING DAY
The chateau has a special room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. It fits very well into our concept of having a breakfast with the bridesmaids. For the groom and friends, we suggested skeet shooting, just like in the good old days, when hunting was an integral part of the life of the Chateau.
The appearance of the bride at the ceremony is always a special moment, the sounds of a white piano and the words of the host, immersing everyone present in the magic of love and romance, the bride’s entrance!
No matter how tender and romantic the atmosphere at the ceremony, the dinner itself should be filled with energy and drive. After the ceremony, we invited all the guests for the wedding dinner. The program, with a lot of humor and the active participation of the guests, took place on stage at the foot of the Chateau, creating an excellent wedding-style background.
During dinner, we showed a humorous video that we had recorded in advance and involved the guests in. We also recorded a video poem - a surprise for the groom from the bride. We decided to use them during the evening performance. This feeling is like in a movie, when you manage to touch the innermost feelings of two people with the help of art, absolutely everyone cried!
Our main task of creating beauty to unite and create long-lasting emotional experiences and memories for a lifetime was accomplished.
