Villa Balbianello is open for visits from 10:00 to 18:00 all days of the week, except Monday and Wednesday. If you are looking for a closed private wedding, you can book the villa these days, but at a higher price. You can also rent the villa for exclusive use on other days of the week, but only after 18:00 (again, at a higher price). Of course, you can also host the ceremony and the aperitif when it is open to the public. Cardinal Angelo Durini created this place in the 18th century as a pleasure place. He built the famous loggia with 3 arches and 2 side rooms. One of the rooms became a library and meeting place. Another had the function of a music room. The last owner Guido Monzino decided to create here not only his own house, but also a cultural center for storing expedition documents and collections. Here you can see unique exhibits of Chinese art, 150 drawings of the seventeenth century made by glass by masters of Veneto, artifacts of the pre Columbian era, English, French furniture of the 18 century.
