Inside the Indian wedding Rome will never forget.
 
When Tiffany & Anthony stood before an officiant in the intimate Church Saint Anna steps from the Vatican walls — she in a white dress lehenga, he in a tailored Italian suit — the two families watching them had travelled from India & US to be there. For three days, the Eternal City had been theirs. This is how it happened, and why it remains the most extraordinary wedding we have ever planned.
 
Most couples choose Italy for the scenery. Tiffany & Anthony chose Rome for something deeper — it was where Anthony had proposed on the steps of the Trinità dei Monti. They decided, was the only city capacious enough to hold their story.
What followed was 14 months of planning, two cultures united with love and three days that 100 people still talk about at dinner parties.

01 DAY ONE | ARRIVAL 
The city opens its doors. The families meet.

Guests were staying in the Radisson Blu Hotel Rome. All guests have found welcome bags in their rooms: a small bottle of Chianti, a handwritten map of the city, and a note that read simply: "We are so happy you're here."
In the morning, all the girls were busy preparing and decorating their hands with henna designs. We couldn't resist; it was so mesmerizing, we decorated our own hands too.
 
The first gathering was the Roce ceremony. One by one, the people who love you most step forward. They pour fresh coconut milk over your head, your shoulders, your hands. They speak a blessing aloud. And in that small, ancient gesture, they are saying: we were here, at the beginning of your new life, and we gave you everything we had to give.  It asks nothing complicated of its participants. Only presence. Only sincerity. Only the willingness to stand before two people you love and mean what you say. The dinner was accompanied by laughter and stories about the newlyweds, accompanied by delicious Italian wine.
  
 
02 DAY SECOND | WELCOME 

"We'd like to see the sunrise in Rome," the bride and groom told me.
On the morning of the second day, we planned a photo shoot—Tiffany wore a light silk dress, sparkling in the rays of the rising sun. They drank coffee in an old café and tossed coins into the Trevi Fountain.
 
The second gathering was held in the private Villa taking place at the Via Appia- the most ancient road in Rome. It began at 5pm and officially ended at midnight. Unofficially, several aunts from both sides were still exchanging experiences, emotions & recipes at 1am. 
 
SCHEDULE OF RITUALS
   
 
5:00 PM
Guests arrive at The Villa Appia Road
Aperitivo with Italian finger food — sea food, fresh breads, mozzarella station.
6:30 PM
The guests have taken their seats at the tables. Dinner begins.
A menu designed with a Roman chef and Tiffany's mother. It was really delicious and worth every one.
Music by an Indian Dj performing Bollywood classics, modern American songs and Italian love songs.
9:30 PM
Sangeet — evening of music and dance
Family performances, a choreographed Bollywood routine from the bridesmaids with Bride's mom, and — the surprise of the evening — Anthony with friends performing a Bollywood number they had been secretly rehearsing for three months.

  

03 DAY THIRD | WEDDING

Tiffany changed out of silk into a tailored white column gown by an Italian designer, Anthony wore a black suit, no boutonniere.
The ceremony was at 3 pm at the Saint Anna Church Vatican
    
   
Important legal note: A legal religious ceremony requires filing documents a minimum of 3 months before the wedding date.
For non-EU couples, additional documents — including certified translations and an Apostille — are required.
We handle this process entirely.
 
The dinner that never wanted to end
That evening, all 100 guests gathered one final time at the Castle Tor Crescenza in Rome for a sunset aperitivo and wedding dinner. Delicious food, stunning Castle, music, dances, congratulations - nobody wanted to leave.
