Perched like a medieval crown atop a private hill, the thousand-year-old Castello di Velona became the silent guardian of their day. Ancient stone walls warmed by the late-afternoon sun watched as golden light poured over endless vineyards of Brunello di Montalcino. From every panoramic terrace — facing all four cardinal points — the view stretched 360 degrees across the legendary Val d’Orcia: cypress trees like dark exclamation marks, solitary farmhouses glowing in the distance, and the silhouette of Monte Amiata sleeping on the horizon.
The ceremony unfolded in pure magic: soft vows carried on a gentle breeze, rose-lined paths, the timeless elegance of the castle panoramic terrace.
